At maturity, their eyes resemble a burnt orange color, framed by the macaw’s classic white eye rings.Once the pairs have successfully mated, the female will lay between three or four white eggs. She will incubate them for approximately 24-26 days. Once the chicks hatch, they will grow rapidly and fledge around seven to eight weeks. Weaning is around 10 weeks. Some chick may take a few weeks longer if they are housed alone.
