Camelot Macaws for sale are beautiful second generation hybrid macaws and bred by crossing a Scarlet Macaw with a Catalina Macaw. Catalina Macaws are actually a hybrid as well using a Scarlet and a Blue and Gold Macaw. They are a larger Macaw and are highly intelligent and inquisitive. The Camelot Macaw is bred for its colors more than its personality. It can be a very affectionate, inquisitive, and fun pet that is beautiful.

Temperament: These birds have a tendency to be unpredictable and even change temperamental traits as they age. A sweet and social bird as a baby can turn a little cranky as it ages. A well-rounded Camelot can be an affectionate, inquisitive and social. The personality of a Scarlet is such that it requires good socialization and a firm consistent hand in training, especially as it matures. The Camelot can have these characteristics, but it can also have the gentle nature and the speaking ability of the Blue and Gold Macaw mixed inBecause they are members of the parrot family they enjoy temperatures in the range of 40-90 degrees F.
Care: If you have space, you can opt for an outdoor aviary with dimensions of 24 x 9 x 6 feet. They will love to have lots of toys and will enjoy plenty of wood for them to chew.
